Whites PRL 1 Industrial

My dad just picked up a Whites PRL 1 Industrial detector at a yard sale in Coco Beach for $2. He knows nothing about detectors and called me to ask if he could coin/ jewelry hunt with it. I told him that I would try to find some answers and get back to him. Can anybody here tell me anything about this detector? Thanks Steve

$2.00 What a deal! Check the Whites corporate forums - there are several active members using the PRL-1 with great success.

My dad is on his " get the heck out of Michigan" trip. He can't drive past a yard sale. He has never had a metal detector and lives about 700 miles from me so hasn't had a chance to hunt with me. He'll be in Florida for another 10 days and then heading for Texas and then Arizona. I can't wait to here about his metal detecting. Thanks Steve
