White's IDX/PRO - Should I buy?

Hi all! I've got a chance to buy a "used once" White's IDX/PRO with a White's Bullseye pinpointer, digging tool, leather pouch, headphones and carrying case for $275.00. I'm still a novice (but getting better!) and I currently use a Tesoro Cibola. Is this a good price on the White's? And, would it be a good step up from the Cibola?

I figure it's always good to have more than one weapon in my arsenal. Any opinions are much appreciated. Even if I don't listen to em :tongue3:

Thanks,
Exintrick

Decent price. I bought an IDX Pro for around $250 about 7 years ago and sold it last year for over $350 on Ebay.

I sold it because I had higher end detectors and the IDX Pro seem to miss targets when I set up masking tests with nails. I don't think it is a step up from the Cibola. The IDX Pro is like 10-15 years old, whereas the Cibola is still going strong. The Cibola is faster. The Vanquero is even better than the Cibola.

Personally, I wouldn't buy it, but if you do, you could probably get your money back because people really like the IDX Pro. If you want more opinions, post in the White's section.
