WHITES DFX vs. TESORO TEJON

Congratulations on your machine. You will have a lifetime warranty with it. Beleive it or not I have been digging my yard and the neighbors. Am finding a lot of bullets. We are thinking that maps may be wrong and this was the retreat of Missionary ridge. Will wait till we finish and then post what we have found with my neighbors. Take care and hope you un thaw soon. I cut my grass tonight !!!

im only talking relics here,,,,,,,,i would consider myself very hard core when it comes to relic hunting,,,,,,,,ive found a ton of bullets with the xlt and ive found a ton with the dfx,,,,,two good detectors,,,,,but when it comes to the tejon,,,,ive found a ton also,,,but a lot deeper,,,,,i agree with joe from missouri,,,,,the dfx will drive you crazy in the woods,,,you touch something in the woods and the darn thing beeps,,,,when it comes to relics and reliics only,,,in my opinion you cant beat the tejon,,,,joe from missouri turn me on to the tejon,,,,,and i think between us,,,,we have been responsible for at least 8 or 9 tejons being sold in the last 4 or 5 months,,,,,and the folks who have bought these are just as sold on them as i am,,,,,now remember all you find mall experts,,,,im only talking relics,,,,,,and by the way,,,i still think the vision or whatever its called now,,,,,,is no relic hunter,,,,,they need to take that program out,,,

I've got a Tejon and love it in spite of it's few faults. But in any ground, if you send out 10 experienced Nauty users and 10 experienced Tejon users, at the end of the day the Nauty users will come out way ahead. It's been proven in organized hunts time and time again. The Nautilus beats any machine for relic hunting, but you gotta know how to use it. Not your basic beep and dig, but not hard to learn either.

Shenandoah Digger,

I agree with you that the IIB is a relic hunting legand and can produce a lot of relics, I used them for years. The main point I want to make however is that while the Nauti is a great relic machine and possibly the best ever the Tejon is very close and is IMO a lot more enjoyable to use. I have two Nautis and a tejon and the Nautis are semi retired now living a relaxing life in my closet :sleepy2:.

Best Regards,

VaRelics

All things being equal I would pick the Tejon over the Nauty in a heartbeat. But, all things are not equal. If I had the fortune of living in an area of good ground, I would never have bought the Nautilus. Tesoro's Tejon ad used to say, "meets and defeats" all soil conditions. They don't say that any more. Because it doesn't. Of course, most single frequency detectors don't.

badger,,,good post, and i agree with you,,,,heck if you posted your opinion on find mall they'd ban you,,,,
