Whites bullseye 2

I like mine, i have 2 had them for several have always worked very good for me. Gotta check the sens knob once in a while and hold your button in and turn knob till it squeals then back it off just till its quiet. Otherwise it can get bumped in use. I know they have saved me a lot of time i wouldn't hunt with out one. Hence the 2nd one. whenever i take someone with me they use the pin pointer once and they are hooked so i bring a spare for them to use so i don't have to share one.

Thank you for that input. I went ahead and bought one and love it too. My buddy doesn't have a PP and always looks at mine and says how handy it is!

Unfortunately, I am on my second one and it's broken. I had to replace the other one because it stopped working altogether. It was still under warranty, so I received a new one at the end of last season. Used it twice and it worked fine. Took it out today and the sensitivity settings do not work...it beeps or vibrates with no metal around...regardless of the settings. It impacted what should have been a fun hunt today...looks like it's time to try a different pinpointer.

I have a Whites Bullseye. I used it until i bought a Garrett ProPointer. The Bullseye is not rugged at all in my opinion and the sensitivity is nearly useless. The guy I bought it from showed me how to 'adjust' the sensitivity by cranking the knob all the way up, then backing it off just until it stops squealing. However, bump it and it goes off again. By the time you get it set to an obedient silence, the knob is nearly 3/4 of the way 'off'. Anyway, an air test shows it to have scarcely only an inch or so of detection field. I had a lot of trouble getting right to my targets after digging the plug, whereas the ProPointer nearly hollers before you get it in the hole. Hmmm, the worst thing about it really, is what I paid for it. :P Nonetheless, I had just started detecting then and was itching to get a pinpointer, so it was out of haste and convenience that I purchased it. Please forgive my response, I am not trying to be a creep, just saying that it did not work for me. If it does for others, that is all that matters. The guy I bought it from is a senior man and White's rep here in town, he is extremely kind and helpful. Some of the White's machines he showcased did look enticing to me, so, just saying that I am not 100% biased on everything in one brand just because I didn't like one of their items. Again, if it works for others, no problem. I think White's could improve on the chassis and sensitivity of their model though, then they'd have a winner.

I have a and a Bullseye and a Pro Pointer i use them both and i like them both as well .Each has its own special things that i like from each

As Said Above JUNK [MAYBE ok as a last ditch light] I look and feel STUPID when using this pin pointer at club hunts , 20$ would be a worth while price. Saving my money for a pro pointer. Dont buy at full price 20$ or less.
