is one a better coin cleaner than the other?being fairly new to metal detecting i'm looking for an efficent safe way to clean some coins.i tried naval jelly last summer when i was fixing up some rust spots on my old van and thought i'd give it a try on a few coins that i had dug they were really tarnished and discolored.i guess the soil here in illinois is really hard soil.a clad quarter, clad dime and a pre 82 copper penny.i put on a heavy coating on each and let it sit for an hour rinsed it off with water and it did'nt make the slightest differance.i thought being there was acid in it it would clean them up lickity split but it did'nt happen...so i guess i figured out the naval jelly is a no go.i hope this helps someone else
