So I did a road trip over to the permission where I got my gold coin a year ago.
Did one also on Halloween and didn't post up-me bad.
Falling into that bad habit of not making a post.

So this is the finds from the trip.

Pack rivet with the leather intact still.

Also got another crotal bell at the cellar hole site.

Grabbed this button/snap face from across the field.

Now I need to find at least one coin so I crossed the road and grabbed a nice LC.

I decided to end the day by a site down the road on the permission.
First hit was the enameled brass bead?

Then the small lead Whorl looking piece.

Next was what looked like a huge thimble, turned out to be a cane/walking stick end.

Last thing was the bell.
Not the prettiest, but I love it even more.

The better finds together

Then the tray of odds and sods.
The melted blobs, and things that made me dig.

The gold field is planted in grains.

The new property is in sod. So I'll be looking forward to seeing that cleaned up, and in crops.

They're taking the fence line down between the properties.
Except they piled the brush on the site-The nerve of them.🤣

Nice digs! The bells are neat (both of them), and I love the coloring on the penny. It looks like it's in good shape.

I like the finds, writeup and pictures. I've never seen a bell like the flared one and wonder whether it is a furniture leg bottom end?
Now you have me thinking 🤔 😏

Very nice finds :hello2:
I'm partial to buttons, they're so personal. Not sure what is depicted on the RR Signal button but maybe something like the controls of this UK signalwoman from 1918.

Thank you
I thought at the time of digging a trouser or coveralls snap button.
Not sure at all really.

Digging a Crotal bell never gets old.
Over a 100 dug.

Very nice finds there, love the bells!
Is it just me or are Blossum's posts style rubbing off on you? :laughing7:
Thank you
Now we trained the @blossom well. 🤣
The only thing that be a contender in the finds department is my bell.
She hits most recoveries out of the park when it comes to the history.

I forgot to ask you what is different about the bell? The hole on the top has me wondering.
