No Kidding, this is why I put this in my post: " WARNING!!! do this in a well ventilated area outside and stay away from the fumes while doing this as the fumes are hazardous. I highly reccommend the retort method."

I am not saying it is not lead, but lead oxidizes and will acquire a dull, flat finish to it. the specimen shown is too shiny, unless it was cleaned and polished for the photo.

I found another piece that looks just like it recently. It's lead.
