Yeah, found a nice white Gold engagement ring today at the beach.
The lady stood up to leave the beach about 5:00 PM yesterday afternoon and the ring slipped off her finger and into the sand. Her friend flagged me down a few hundred feet away. They located a 20 by 20 foot area and my first pass through got me a few bottle caps and a crusty Zinc. I did it again at 90 degrees with no luck. Next I did a diagonal and got a weak signal before getting to the other side. It was the ring! Gold hits weakly on my PI...but it does hit.
She gave me a hug and was thrilled to have gotten it back. Her friend took the photo and emailed it to me.
The location was about 50 feet from last Thursday's Gold ring (which I got to keep). Gotta Love this hobby.

The weird expression on my face (which I hope is NOT permanent) is the after-effect of the quick, intense hug she gave me just before the photo.
