Found on the beach at 'Robinhood's Bay, Whitby - Yorkshire'. I thought it was a piece of driftwood at first, and then I picked it up, weighs a ton. Measurements 13cm x 12cm x 7cm. Fossilised wood it deffinately is, but is it Jet?
I've done the 'sandpaper' test, and yes, it rubs off a creamy-brown colour.
