I have the private slot in my neighborhood, this was a slot cut through solid bed rock that has filled in and will I am sure blown out again with the next flood this fall.
Not sure where the best place is to start????

Start at the upstream end of the inside corner.........
Can you get a birds eye view with google so we can see the channel better?

Thanks guys! Now the dead horse topic......figuring out how to separate the gold from from the black sand with out a pan?

You're going to need a pan at some point. Sampling sampling and did I say sampling? Oh and very final clean up too. Get a high banker once you find some gold paying area

Got a Keene A52 and several pans......will be sampling today as it is only 3 blocks from my house.

How did the sampling go today? We went out to a new spot on the raging and did a little panning and mossing. Had fun and found a few flakes too!ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1433122562.332763.jpgcheers!!

Jesse, how about you and I get together with Serene and
see if we can show him where the gold is in that area?

My trucks still down, but I can certainly shoot over that way
in the Queen's Hyundai.

Jesse, I love mossing, but hate cleaning the stuff!

The vial on the left is taken from a mile up river full of mercury, the one in the middle is from today....the other was from mossing. I have truck that holds 4 comfortably. :laughing7:

If you have any option to aquire/buy land boardering that creek id think real hard about it!!!!!!!!! If it were up to me , id buy and im sure my bad back/knees/ankles would feel MUCH better while dredgeing that creek.as it is for me. I have to drive MANY miles to do dredgeing and it looks like all my equipment will be up on the auction block real soon!
