When finding #2 in the woods is a BAD THING

I went back to the site Vferrari and I went to Wednesday with another Tnetter I dig with often. We were there about 4 hours. I found one patch of relics, I will post them TOMORROW when things don't hurt as much.

Anyway, about 50' if that from where V found his "2" hat number, I found a nice, fresh pile of bear scat. Or call it doodie. Or #2. Take your pick. I did NOT play with it.

I got three of those little brass grommets, two eagle buttons, a kepi buckle in brass (these are very hard to get around here anymore), some camp lead, some pieces of broken CW beer bottles and pieces of a cobalt colored poison bottle, the inner piece to a CW period pocket watch and another carved bullet and a broken CW Scissors. I tossed the ration can pieces.

Again, will get pics TOMORROW.

That bear scat may have been harboring some good relics! A friend of mine found a nice plate under a fresh plop of bovine dung.

No, it was 4 and a half hours to drive 150 miles down and SIX hours back. Traffic was terrible.

Agree, it's usually a bad thing when I've found out later that I stepped in it! I remember a book years ago called, "Looking Out For Number One!"

I'm going to write a book called, "Looking Out For Number Two!" Anybody walking in a parade can relate when the parade has the people riding the horses at the front of the parade!
