So , Yesterday I went back out with Jcobb, and hit up an area i have been hunting for years, mainly trying to clear out all the trash.

My only good signal was this wheat penny, which was on edge and stick up out of the ground in an old gravel driveway.

I was pretty stooked to see it was a hundred year old coin.

Went home, cleaned it up some saw what I believed was a 1910-D...did a little reaserch to find out, they never even made a 1910-D penny

At first I thought I had my Million Dollar coin lol.

But Im pretty sure that isnt the case.

Check this pic out...It sure looks like the last digit is a "0"

Sorry to just post a Wheat, I just thought this was pretty wild....at least to me

1912 maybe?

Yea, Its gotta be that. Its funny how on certain wheats ( Better dates) there is ALWAYS a little piece of crud or something that makes it a little unsure.

But Im happy with a 1912 :P

I just sent this out to a few people last night asking what date they thought it was and all of them said 1910..lol

Looked like a 1910 to me lol!
That place is still giving some up... Clean it out a little better so I can find the silver hahaha

Sure looks like a 1910 and a nice D. I've seen squashed S's that people thought were D's but it looks too good. Stranger things have happened at the mint, can't wait to hear the outcome.

The "0" of 1910 is quite large on all 1910 and 1910-S cents. The small size of the last digit here makes me think it's a 1913-D, or possibly 1912-D.

Looks like a "0" to me, also. Maybe a 9 with the tail gone?

I am glad my eyes are still good...

Yep, looks like a 1910-D to me. Looked like a 1912 until I enlarged it.

1912 D 1C MS Lincoln Cents, Wheat Reverse | NGC

First look, looked like a 1912 D, second look after I clicked on it, looked like a 1910 D

Yesterday I looked at one of my wheats, thought I seen 1943, it was a 1942
1943 copper wheat-------100,000 bucks!

HaHa Nice ! :laughing7: 12 as the Pic Stands 10 when I zoom :laughing7:

nice find though because of the Bottom looking rounded, I'd almost think 13
or 18 of course 13 more then 18

WELL! The verdict is in !..lol

It turned out to be a 1912-D wheat...I have been soaking it in oil the last week and pulled it out to see that it was a "2" and just worn in the right places.
