Wheat cent error

Dug this wheat today and realized that the 1 looked a little off... It's an error! Can't find any information on Google about this error, so anyone have an idea of how rare it is and value?

Frank is dead on, and gives good advice. Study up on the minting process and you will better understand how errors can happen and the difference between errors and damage. You can certainly have your coin looked at, but there is no question that this is just damage.
