I Gave up after 6:59 & Posted this :dontknow:

Metal Detecting in Myrtle Beach, SC - random girls in bikinis won't leave me alone!

Trying to livestream Metal Detect in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with my Minelab Equinox 800 and GoPro Hero 10 Black.Using my phone's mobile Hotspot to create a livestreaming video and random girls in bikinis won't stop approaching me to strike up conversations.

I Think he also said he has a find in Face book ?
What ever it was, I'm sure it's in Mint Condition :coffee2:

This guy is um.... ehh heh
Typical tourist moves.

One thing I particularly did not like is at 6-33 when he rudely and assholly walked directly in front of the two persons... invading and entering THEIR personal space.
This is a jerk move and i think he is either baiting people and likes the attention he gets.
OR he is just that lame and stupid.
Perhaps he in life does not get any attention elsewise.
Dork.
Makes me sick really.
These new people make me want to sell my detectors after all these years, for i want no party to the new dork-olas.
They are making the hobby / craft so UN cool with these vids.

also I Decided to Watch to see him Dig.
He never Did.
also :
" random girls in bikinis won't stop approaching me "

1 Girl Walked up & Said She's been Thinking about getting one.

where were these "Girls"

a Bit of a Dreamer.

I seriously Believe his So Called face book page
probably Has "Dream Finds" also

And whats up with the name ? "underground detecting"

I mean.... what does that mean ?

As opposed to above ground ? ? ?

:/

Bah.

These videos IMO do them more of an injustice than anything.
Whole lotta work to try and get hits
But really its more flops in the end.

If your gonna do it... do it correctly and not just for hits.
A bright idea can be really dim.

Such a small coil ?

Such a small coil ?
Yes My Thought exactly, Tiny Coil, Large Beach, almost Jogging,
By the time he realize a Quick Blip signal , he's already a Couple feet past it :dontknow:

He probably Thought the Beach was clean !
I Also wonder his Setting :coffee2:

What was this useless content all about in the first place?
Fast forward through video still resulted in time that I will never get back.
Swinging a coil like a Z configuration tells me one thing.

The guy doesn't know $hit about detecting.

Click bait videos should get 🗑.

Waste of time.

To his credit though he did cover a fraction of a percent of beach with the coil.
Maye if he swung faster and walked faster too it would help reduce potential effectiveness further.

Ya , dick move not yielding to traffic in front of him focused on their own hunting. A ton of beach he could have avoided crowding them on. Not like he was on a hot line/edge anyways.

I Also wonder his Setting
I read the comments, and I quote,

@bbru34sh we also run Park 1 mode EVERYWHERE, because it works perfectly if you are not discriminating signals, or masking iron. We run wide open, nothing filtered and find many keeper items other detectorists miss or pass up

@GENOBURRITO1 on some machine and coil combinations you are limited to the area directly below the coil. The EQX06 will locate a signal 3 to 6" to the side of the coil as well to help you locate the target and center on it with pinpoint mode. This means the coil responds much like a 12" to 18" coil in parks and beaches for horizontal sweeping.

As the Brits would say, a right plonker.
🤣

I've seen Newbies swing before ! But I Think he was the worst I ever saw. only time he slowed up was to check someone else's dig spots !

add to that He Turned the Detector on before leaving his room,
& walked over the Concrete & The road With the Detector Going Crazy he never tuned it for the sand that I Remember

was like he just got it in the Mail, put Batteries in, & went to strike it Rich :laughing9: actually : SHOW OFF !

Looked like Park 1 and trying to find something in the wet sand and water. No wonder he didn't get a signal.

It seems there's been quite a bit of trash-talking directed at a YouTube content creator, and I'd like to share my perspective on this. From what I saw, all he did was walk by people on a public beach, and he didn't even get close to anyone. I'm not sure why so many are criticizing him. Is it acceptable to harass and bash someone just because a thread was started by Jeff from PA? Jeff, you're a super moderator, but in this case, it looks like all you did was give this guy more views.

If you didn't like the video, the best thing to do would have been to not post it here at all. I've seen a lot of sour comments, but when I check the view count, it's clear he's gained attention—likely because of the discussion here. I'm still struggling to understand what he did wrong. If you don't like a video, don't watch it. If you really dislike a content creator, you can always block them, and YouTube won't suggest their content to you.

As for the criticism about not digging, maybe there were simply no signals to dig. That happens sometimes. What do you expect him to do while streaming? Fake digs or stay silent? It seems this was just a stream that he reposted, so perhaps those judging should consider getting their own gear and making videos themselves.

Regarding his channel name, it seems like nitpicking to bash it. The video title was meant to be a joke to attract clicks. Some people might not have found it funny, but others did, and it's clear some were disappointed because they expected what the title implied.

I'd also like to remind everyone that TreasureNet's TOS emphasizes the need to be polite, respectful, and civil in discussions. This kind of behavior could be seen as a violation. It's important to maintain a positive and constructive community, and that includes how we talk about others, even if we don’t agree with or like their content. (@jeff of pa).

The content provider is not a identifying TreasureNet member.

Comments regarding this click bait videos are not violation of any rules.

Everyone was very respectful towards other members.

I stand by my original posting regarding that crap video.

Prove me wrong.

You might be a great fan of all content providers regardless of what they produce.
That's OK.

But defending a non-member as in your ending paragraph is tad off as I see your criticism towards all the members as what you're preaching.

So I am sure that your subscribe and thumbs up will help the guys content count.

Bah... I for one stand by what i said.
For two... that is a USER name not a "channel" name and my comment about such was meant to be funny .. not an insult.
Three... Stating ones opinion about a click bait spammer be it civil or otherwise is not a violation per say... but just an opinion... FOR his action is taken by me as an attempt TO DRAW PEOPLE AWAY from this site anyway... and i have no patience for it and take offense to it... for it is an intrusion / interruption of "our community" here.
Four... TreasureNet is NOT a platform for promotion of ones ego or content elsewhere.. it is spam... pure and simple... SO......
He broke / violated the rules AND "positive and constructive" atmosphere first.

Seems you have decided to "stand up" for a spammer who detects without regard to others and who is NOT a member of standing here for ? ? ?
Perhaps you know him...
OR ARE YOU him ? ? ?
