Just remembered one of my all time favorite coffee brands...........Lusianne Coffee with chicory. Man, that was a GREAT tasting coffee and is what got me to drinking black coffee------no sugar, no creme. The only thing I put into my cup of coffee is my upper lip.

When I was a drinking man, I liked to sit around the campfire at deer camp and have some really strong boiled coffe in a tall mug with a shot of Baily's and a jigger of Irish Whisky before bedtime. Slept like a baby. Now I use mostly Folgers dark roast, 8 tsp to 8 cups in my old fashioned prcolator without the added ingredients. I only drink coffee in the morning, 2 cups as an eye opener. Sometimes with a little sweetner or Coffee Mate if I feel particularly festive! Straight black if I have a busy day and didn't get much sleep the night before. Coffee is a required taste like many beverages. I have tried drinking tea but it just is not the same. I have a cousin my age who poisons his coffee with 4 heaping teaspoons of sugar and a jigger of cream. Disgusting! Monty
