If i only got a dollar a piece for every broken tie down strap I found in the road I could almost afford a new Minelab. I found a 48
'' aluminum Ridgid pipe wrench in the ditch when I was mowing the yard.

I am not getting any treasure hunting this year, just the treasure of caring for a in law in their final months, stressful though, very rewarding in the end. I love reading the others adventures anyway

Actually, $10,000 in twenty dollar bills. I found them while on duty, and unfortunately they were all counterfeit. A counterfeiting ring had been busted in another part of the state and before the bust had took a lot of the inventory out and dumped it across the state. I turned it over to the Secret Service, as that's who handles counterfeit money, not the FBI. They were very high quality. They didn't thank me or anything, but they did use some of the bills in classes they presented to LEO's after that.

I found a pedal car and all the parts with a fine patina of rust over it. I still have that little car.
Also found an all metal banjolele sticking up in the trash.
