Whats down there?

Re: What's down there?

maybe this is a lot more than just a shaft... has anyone explored the area around it? Also, has anything similar to this ever been found? if so then that would be an important clue. Could this have been a mining operation?

Re: What's down there?

If the parchment is still in existance it would make a hell of alot of sense to have it carbon dated,Giving them a reference point of when the shaft was sank into the ground,Seeing as how the parchment was found below the flood tunnel and the iron plate seal,it would give a damn good reference point to research what time the shaft was made and who most likely had made it.If i were involved in that project id have a team of divers drop below the flood tunnel and build a water lock, similar to an air lock in the coal mines.Have a directional drilling team drill to the right and left of the new water lock to change the water table and advert the water from the main shaft. From that point it would be like facing up a modern day shaft mine,Sink a new shaft adjacent to the waterlock,go forty feet below the seal and mine back to the shaft. Changing the water table and sinking the new shaft could be done for around 500k. In my personal opinion,Its the location of the bruton vault. There are to many similarities in the discovery on oak island and what has been found before the shaft became inaccessible that nearly identically match to the study regarding the bruton vaults. Other than the location of the bruton vault believing to have been in jamestown VA before the state house burned,Its a damn good possibilitie the vaults were moved to oak island, even the researchers claim to have evidence that the good pens themselves moved the bruton vaults from jamestown to an undisclosed location. But like i said,That is just my opinion of what is down there. They need to carbon date the parchment to validate some of the theories surrounding oak island,Investors would come out of the wood piles to make recovery possible. All im saying is that if there is anything there of value,Carbon date the parchment and the funds to extract will be there.

It would be truly awesome to recover the ark of the covenant or maybe even the tablets moses brought down from the mountain with gods commandments.Could even be the location of the holy grail,Or possibly the place where englands crown jewels actually dissappeared to.WHo knows whats there, the possibilities are endless,You can imagine all sorts of things being there.Carbon Date the Parchment and then Start Diggin`.

But thats just my opinion on the subject.

Re: What's down there?

I will tell you what is down there as i have been there many times I only live about 50 miles from Oak Island It is full of money left by the people who over the years have tried to get to the bottom of the pit.
