whats does everybody here do for work?

I have owned a Fence Install/Wholesale Company for 16 years. I am lucky enough now I have people doing the hard part for me, I don't miss digging the post holes and breaking rock. I now dig plenty of holes for free, when I'm detectin. ;D Well I did make $4.76 today for about 6 hours detectin OHHH MY BACK

I work full time for the Missouri National Guard...and have owned a small business for 12 years, New-Tech Oil Stain Removal....basically I have machinery that environmentally correctly removes oil from concrete. And I service approximately 170 different bank locations in Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas....I am also a connoisseur of cupcakes....And I am pretty picky about who I let make them for me....(sorry inside joke)

I'm a home furnishings relocation specialist and amateur pain in the butt. The wife says I'm almost ready to turn pro ;D

ops manager for a plumbing wholesale co
kid chaser
metal detector collector.

retired medical examiner investagator, now trying to keep the ranch running smooth by fixin' fence, feedin' cows, gettin' off and on the tractor half of the day. Detectin', carvin', and wood burnin' are my main interests!!

Meat wrapper. (not the same, but I do deal with all kinds of raw meat).

Working on getting a small farm back in shape. Detecting, wood carving and woodburning are among my many related interests!

Retired from USAF in 1988; went to school for 2 years; drove cross country for J.B. Hunt; now a 60 year old Great Grandpa. Working on my Doctorate in procrastination and plan to have my dissertation published soon. ::) .

I am a retired Detective (20 years) from the City of Poughkeepsie in New York (1989) and I now work as a Public Insurance Adjuster in Florida . (work for the people not the insurance Co.)
Man I used to work for a Geotec, soil testing and engineering company and had to drive to Poughkeepsie once from Baton Rouge and drill off of a barge in the Hudson River in November! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Thank Goodness the union made us leave after 3 days.............yayyyyyyyyy warm Louisiana. lol Seriously it was a wonderful trip and an awesome place to visit. Saw some great states between here and there.

I am a Taxi Cab driver. I love it! I meet lots of wonderful people from all over the world. Its a big plus because I collect coins and bills. Needless to say I run across alot of cash and change. I luck up on occation with a silver quarter or a Silver Certificate bill. I was a framing and trim carpenter for 20 years. Neck, back and elbows said "Do something else!" I was a U.S Army Soldier first, a strong supporter of our troops. :)

Industrial electrician. Controls guy, must be why I'm drawn to these metal detecting machines. I won't start on my hobbies, metal detecting is one I really love though.

Well, I'm Line-of-Duty, Service-Connected, Disabled-Retired from the Army since 1985 (went in 1979 as an MP, became involved in Terrorist Activity Countermeasures, got shot up but no Purple Heart when you are somewhere you aren't 'supposed' to be.... they DID give me a 70% disability rating tho ;) ). After surgeries, rehab and therapy I got back into policework (stupid!?!), then did corporate security, then worked as a Disabled Veteran's Rep for the MO Division of Employment Security for a few years while I finished my Bachelor's Degree, then, just to make sure I substantiated the stupidity accusations, I went BACK into policework (University of MO - Rolla Police Dept........ now called the MO University of Science & Technology PD since Jan 1). I'm currently the Sergeant in charge of Investigations, Evidence, Firearms, Federal Legislative Compliance, Internet Webpages, etc, etc, etc.....

I'm impatiently waiting for 7 years to pass so I can finally, actually RETIRE (at age 55)!!!
HOWEVER.................... The Dept of Veteran's Affairs is re-evaluating my medical conditions and increased my rating to 80% last year. I still have half a dozen conditions pending determination so I might end up with full and total disability.
But I'll NEVER be too stove up to swing a detector!!!!!! I actually use mine to find evidence the perps try to ditch and have located lost items for citizens and students.

And like I've said before, I'm heading to Florida ASAP!!!!! So move over "FLBill", "erikk" and "bridgeendfarm". ;D

I'm a trim carpenter / contractor, been at it for about 15 years
