Looks like an oyster shell. I have lots of them , only mine are a few years old. hmmm

Yep. Common Cretaceous oyster. Not worth a whole ton. Sorry

A family member gave me this fossil a few years ago. I believe they said they found it on their property in Arkansas. Can anybody tell me what type of fossil this is, how old it is, and what it may be worth?

Exogyra Texana, I believe. Not large enough for a Ponderosa. Comes from cretaceous limestone. Worth? There is a reef of them near my home. I used to give them to students as presents(if they wanted one).

Commonly found in the gravel bars below the falls at McKinney Falls State Park south of Austin.
