The Big Book of Buttons calls this a Guanaco. Here is what they have about it----
The big book of buttons is incorrect, I've raised both guanaco's and donkeys - this is definitely a depiction of a donkey (commonly called an ass worldwide or a burro in the Americas).

Guanacos don't have hoofs like on your button. They have two toes with nails like claws and a soft pad on the bottom of the foot as do all Camelids.

.

They also have a much longer neck than a donkey and their tails are stubby, thick and high on their back and have no hair hanging down. Donkeys have a long hair tail like a horse.

The Guanaco doesn't have a color ridge on it's back like a donkey does, Guanaco backs are very round and fluffy. You can see the hereditary donkey ridge clearly detailed on your button.

I believe the creature in the bottom left image (post 15) is a mythical horned creature known as a "Hartford".

Although I can find nothing on it, I do know the creature was featured in a scene in the movie " Snow White and the Huntsman", and I believe the dwarves identified it as a
Hartford.
