What to buy with my clad?

I used to use all of it to fund my hobbie and it worked for awhile, but now I just dump it all in coinstars and get the amazon credit to buy gifts at christmas, one year i had around 450 dollars from Clad I dumped

I hold my Clad till the end of the year, then flip it for silver bullion.
I mix it up though, I now have a collection of different countries bullion, and a wide variety of bars.

I you are married, clad money and items sold money, part should be spent on Spouse to keep Him/Her in a pleasant mood and the rest on detecting products.
Marvin--------------remembering that if Spouse ain't happy, there ain't nobody happy.

When I cash my clad in I usually buy silver with it.

I usually just cash it in and put it in my bank account and call it my coffee money. Clad adds up fast here in Canada with having loonies and toonies ($1 - $2 coins) especially if you hit the parks and fairgrounds after some kind of festival. Got $93 in 3 hours after the last rib fest I did. I do these kind of clad hunts about 6-8 times a year.

i got a jar sitting on my desk and every time i find clad i add it up and write the total down.I may use mine for silver coin in the future but right now batteries

I just put the clad finds into the metal detecting bank account, then when I need a new machine (need Ha Ha Ha) or some other detecting trinket a purchase can be made with no guilt. :icon_thumleft:

I just bought 10 silver washington quarters for $28 on ebay....free shipping. 103% of melt....pretty good deal i think!!

DSCN2113.JPGDSCN2114.JPG I buy bullion, gold, silver, or both. This is the bullion I bought with last year's clad.

I bought 60 Walking Liberty Halves at a coin show this past Sunday for $330...…...11X Face Pretty much the same rate as your quarters. You got a good deal.

Does anyone keep track of their clad totals every year or just me?

I'm like the Professor...I have a separate account at my bank for clad and pocket change. Over the past five years, I've averaged between $200-$225 in dug clad per. Buys a sheetload of batteries 'n accessories. 😁

With the 3 gold rings I got over the last few years I bought the Garrett Z-link setup for the ATP
