Hey guys I’ve had time to look through some of my collection and this sterling spoon fork has got me baffled because I can’t find a picture of it anywhere. Do you think that’s what it it was made for a spoon and a fork under the magnifying glass the two prongs are not broken they’re meant to be like that except they’re not that sharp either let me know what your opinion is?

FIrst off, I am glad to see you keeping busy and hope you are doing ok. I think the spoon may be made like that to accept a handle, either a split wood ,bone,, or plastic. Then ri eted together.
Hey my days seem a little longer so yeah so I have to keep myself out of the space between my ears it has been a bad neighborhood many of times in life so I have to continue to walk through it not start. That being said I never thought about it could just be a prong to a wood or bone handle I appreciate it. Any idea about what age it may be roundabout reason I ask is it is it was found on a very old site.

I agree with villagenut....probably the two prongs attached to a handle.
I appreciate you checking in any idea what age that could come from? I also looked at the makers Mark and I can’t find it maybe it’s just me any ideas?
