⛏What stone is it?⛏

I found this stone while walking on the street, I took it up because it looked interesting and when I held it it was very heavy for a stone that size. I took my phone and measured with an EMF app, because an IPhone can mesure the magnetic field and the riding was like some kind of iron. When I came home I tried the magnet and it was atracted to it. What is interesting is that it has on it’s broken side colors like green,yellow, a bit of blue and pink, also one of it’s side looks like it had been melted.

Interesting street find there. Try a streak test. I suspect its a mix of magnetite and calico pyrites. The pyrites are the colorful bits and the magnetite is the part that is magnetic. I don't usually see them mixed like that but its a neat speci.

The most interesting thing it that it seems that it has been melted on a side

This is the side that it looks like it had been melted which is strange

Its not very unusual actually. Iron ores often mimic what looks like melting. Limonite, Hematite and Magnetite can all exhibit Botryoidal, or blobby looking, formation. Your specimen exhibits both crystal and Botryoidal aspects of its formation.
