Back in the early 80's I was hunting in a park in Kansas City Mo..........It was a beautiful glass eye.
That's about as unique as I've ever heard. Just out of shear curiosity, can I ask what park was it? I live in KC.

I found it when they bladed off the ground before it was built. alot of nice silver came from that site also. I worked in the BMA building for 25 years and found alot of coins in the yard on the south east corner. It used to be an orphanage until 1954-I think. I have hunted pretty much everywhere you can hunt in that area.
I don't know if you're still local, but they turned the BMA building into lofts.
There's alot of area in that park. I'm sure there's still a silver of two, though they are hard to find. I've hunted it just a couple times. A friend squeaked a seated half, worn almort smooth, out of there recently. The time I hunted it, they had just ground up a couple tree stumps. In the sawdust, I found a "Penn Valley Pool Towel Tag". I guess back in the 30's or so, they had a public pool there.
