Hi;
Went digging today and found a small spot where I dug two Eagle Shield buttons, two Connecticut 13A coat buttons. A plain unmarked flat button, fired percussion cap, some odds and ends, and one and a half reeds. The frames on these reeds are 1/8 th inch thick. Anyone know what they may have gone too?
BTW, something I found unusual, the Eagle buttons and the Connecticut buttons all had the same bm. small raised letters Scovill MFG CO WATERBURY. I find this unusual in that when I have found a group of buttons in the past usually at least one has a different bm.
