The melting point of Platinum is 3215 degrees Fahrenheit and the melting point for lead is 621.5 degrees Fahrenheit, so if you can melt it with a soldering iron or propane torch, from hardware store you have lead.Also in the second reply on page 1 of this post you stated the metal is soft, well lead has a 1.5 level of hardness and Platinum has a hardness of 3.5, you also can check all of this on the internet so IMO you are wasting our time because you ask questions, but don't want to hear the truth, you want it to be some hidden treasure.I'm out of this wild goose chase.
