What kind of flowers this?

Thanks for the added pics. Trombone catches were popular with European made jewelry up to about 1940 or so.

Do you think this is from the 40s? Or earlier?
My daughter is in love with it and wants it... She's 8. Probably not gonna get it though!
 

It'd be really difficult to put an exact date on an unsigned piece. You have to go by the general style, construction, findings and materials used, to make a general guesstimate. I think it's safe to day that it is 1940's or earlier and probably European. I know it's a tiny stone but did the jeweler say what kind of cut it was? That is also another clue to dating jewelry with stones.

No, he didnt say the cut. I'll try to find out. Although it may be a little bit because I have to try to get my taxes done before do anything else!!
