I recently came into this small car; not sure at all what it is. I took it to the BMW dealership to ask them, they had no idea but offered me 50K for it as is.

It starts and runs, but that is about all I know about it. It has a very narrow wheel base and is pretty short.

Listed it on the net for just over 50K, I figure if people who do not know what it is would offer that and considering the person who owned before had it sitting in his trophy room before he went to prison that it must be worth something, well at least more than the 120 bucks I paid for it at auction.

Last thing on the size if it helps, it clearly take a small driver, my buddy is only about 6`4” and he fits in it just fine, so for small folks if that helps any. Got a neighbor who claims it is a race car from the 40s, but that would be like asking me about a space ship if you know what I mean.

Thanks folks.

What are the words/letters on the three line riveted (?) plate?
What is written on the windshield decals?
What is written or what is the image on the head rest?

Production Year Plate; says 1946 Looks after market
Windscreen decals are from racing inspection at a track in Switzerland
Above the headrest is the crest of the criminal organization the previous owner founded and ran.

The BMW Greifzu from the early '50s is very similar. Look under every cover and check every label. You should find information that will lead to a definitive ID. Also, I would hold out for at least a few hundred thousand Euro, based on what little information I have found.

No, out of a Law Enforcement warehouse.

Yes it says they started building it in 46. Just search the name and you will see it.

Thanks for the heads up on that, but I am not really a car guy. This was just to flip fast, sat in on the auction and it was only like 3 people that showed up, seems pretty normal over the past few years. If it is not sold then it is sent to the trash. I figured if this guy had it in his living room out of all the stuff he could afford then why not pay pennies and get a little more for it.

So then you already knew what it was.

No, you clearly found that picture from the add I posted on mobil, the add clearly states that I do not have any information on the vehicle at all.

Not really sure how to make that any more clear really.

Yeah, nice try mate.

I think that car would go for closer to 100k than 50k

So, at a $120.00. Great deal.

I see it ended on EBay with 65 bids at 33,768 US.. reserve not met.

I would find a collectors auction; not EBay.

I may not have seen the original add,the site I read had a fair amount of info including what it supposably is.
So I thought it was your description.
