What is your worst discovery while detecting?

Why are you sorry about telling us this story? I'm sitting here eating my headcheese sandwich and drinking my glass of tomato juice and don't have any problems with swallowing my....cough....gap....uh...excuse me I have to run to the bathroom.......

Those are all interesting finds and thanks for the responses. I would rather find a fresh body or skeleton than a rotting corpse anyday ;)

I guess the wierdest find for me was a human skull I found on Thanksgiving day 2006. Was detecting the woods near my house. It was the same site I had hunted twice before and never noticed it. I had actually walked with two feet or so of it before and never knew it. I only had an hour and a half to hunt. Then I was to leave for the in-laws for T-day dinner. Decided to wait until the next day to call the cops. They asked me about when I found it and didn't question why I waited.

Jeff, I have cut my finger too. Not bad, thankfully. Sure gave me the 'willies' when I felt my finger run across it. I always fear reching in and grebbing a big 'ol slice of glass. :-[
