Looks to be a casting of a cylinder with a eagle in the center....

Maybe one of those "investment coins" that they used to sell on late night TV...

First off Welcome to TreasureNet

We need a bit more info on your item.
Please tell us what you think it is made of and show us a picture of the back.
It would also help to give us a general idea of where and how it was found.

Also get the measurements and weight if you can.

Judging by the wear, it looks like it was carried for quite a while.
And welcome to the forum.

Could be an older challenge coin, but need to see the other side.

Interesting.

What is that eagle (I assume it's an eagle) perched on?
Looks like a box? Probably not a carton of eggs. :)

I could see that, but why would it have that patina in the further back parts like a mildly circulated walker? I mean, you could carry one of those investment coins around but why would you.
