Hello guys, if found this couple of hours ago in north Serbia, can someone tell me what is this, and how old is this, there is a silk in that, one guy told me that this is a message written on silk but idk, so if any1 of u can help me thank u in advance, btw i don't want to open it, maybe it's gonna decay.

Messenger pigeons have been used for close to 1000 years. I’m certainly not saying that’s what this piece is but I would not dismiss it as a possibility. It’s a very interesting piece and I’m curious to know what it may be. I wish there was a safe way to remove the “paper” and see if there’s indeed any writing that has survived. That said I would certainly leave it be for now.

He’s concerned about destroying what’s inside as it’s obviously fragile and has been in the elements. He already opened the “box”.
