I have no idea but it is an awesome piece. Someone will ID it shortly, I'm sure. There are some smart folks on this board.
 

yeah i would say geofact, if they put that pit in it, it would be smooth as silk with no bumbs in it

I vote natural rock too. Mother Nature can do some funky things to stone with a few million years or erosion.

dave.... we need more pics and any MORE possible history on this! It does look really cool, and mother nature produces a gabillion "looks like it could be somethings". We really have no ideas what it could be, so comments are/can be made to BUMP your post to the top so more people can look at it, or it will get lost at the bottom! Thanks! Ohioaxeman
