What is this thing??

Eyeballed this while detecting a cornfield the other day. The field is known for arrowheads and other native American artifacts. Pics show both sides, one side has this strange shaped pattern thing going on that seems to repeat itself, with a prominent bowl shaped indentation at the end. Other side has more of the pattern, although not as defined as the other side. Just doesn't look like a normal rock to me. What do you think??

In this particular field, not any that I'm aware of, but fossils do pop up here and there in the general area

Would anyone know how I can move this to the fossil forum??

If I were you I would check what kind of rock it is.. The Native Americans only used certain rock for arrow heads ect.. And if you ask me I think it's just a weird looking rock sorry. But I've been wrong before, good luck with your search
