Found this yesterday at an old farm, almost destroyed it, left side anchor holding on for dear life.
No clue what it is, made of copper.

Thanks for looking!:hello:

It's extremely similar (I guess at least two different variants were made) but it has two attachment points on the top of the shield whereas yours seems to have three and they seem to be in slightly different locations. Is it a military or patriotic civilian Navy insignia? I assume the latter.

Very cool find, liking it.
WTG on the gifting it back to the family.
Now there's an eagle screaming to be reconnected somewhere out there.

Hey Groove... thanks for the link!
Too bad the top is gone, but now I can give it to my permission with some context as to what it’s supposed to be...
Pissed that I wrecked the anchor, but oh well, I’m not keeping it so I don’t have to cry about it.

Nice piece, glad you finally got an ID. Now you can keep coming back by telling them you are looking for the top part. You might want to be careful what you show them though :laughing7:

Great find and interesting to follow the quest to I.D. it.
