What is this? Military medal ?

I reach out to the experts here to help identify what this is. It was found in a park from 1902. I looks like it could be military, maybe a campaign ribbon? Any help with it's identification, age or just leads would be greatly appreciated thanks for your help
 

Doesn't look military to me, maybe the Knights of Columbus.

It looks to me to be a ribbon bar without the ribbon. What I mean that this part shown is actually the part that would of fastened to the uniform. Slide on ribbon is missing; this is the mount...the 2 prongs are missing.
