I wonder if it is a top part of a weapon or old bayonette type gun?
I don?t know. I kind of doubt it, not saying it?s not but there used to be a ferry back in the 1880?s on the arkansas river that would pick up a train and deliver it across the river to the other side, and other things too. I?m just wondering if it?s part of an old ferry, or train part. I?m lost at this point. I?ve looked through all my civil war books, and argued with a kid on FB sho thinks it might be a muzzle loader bullet. I told him it would have to be bigger than an elephant gun since the size of the deal is 1 1/2? tall and 1 1/2? wide. I mean if it wasn?t so small I could see it, but the bore size doesn?t match up to any civil war cannons.
