Found on a home site?

Possibly a home-made curtain weight or hem weight.

Looks like a nice collection of buttons. Either lots of people there or men doing very physical work and popping their buttons.

It could be a flattened musket ball or other lead that a square nail was driven through to make a patch or stopper or some other makeshift doodad.

Could be an unfinished whirligig. They normally had two holes in the center. I have found one at a colonial site before.

I thought it was a coin when first dig, but obviously a lead something when I cleaned it. Very cool. Thanks

For those who are interested, this item is a 1790s gunflint holder. Its part of a gun.
