Hi, I found this in Northern NJ. There used to be a house and old farm fields where I found this (I think). Any ideas on what it could be? Looks like it used to be able to swing up and down. Let me know if you have any ideas!

Thanks!

Looks like an old tie rod

Antique record player crank arm ? ? ?

"Transom Window Operator" also comes to mind.

Looks like a part from an old tractor or vehicle. Could be the gear arm or a part from the linkage.

Tie rods don’t have bolts in the middle of the arm and they have an inner and outer shaft. This bolt was also attached to something it’s either a gear selector shifter or swing arm part of the linkage

Thats what I was thinking. Thank you!

It appears to be either a gear selector or a shift arm to engage the power takeoff from a tractor.
