Over $200 and less than 20k, and I still have it. :) That said, I agree with metal detecting being priceless, especially when you need it even more than you want to do it.
 

Hmmm I have never found any one item worth more than a couple hundred bucks. But, when i add it up over the years, its impressive!

Last year I found a really nice 14K wedding band and last month I found a 1904S Barber half dollar.

My CTX is paid off in 1 year.
