This thing is about 2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. Tube shaped and the top has "G" all the way around. I think its copper judging from the greenish tarnish.
It has little grooves along the length. It seems the top used to separate from the rest of the item. What is it? How old? Thank you for any ideas.
