This box measures 13 1/2 inches in height 10 inches wide and a depth of 10 inches. It has a slot in the front. lid top opens and has a wood spindle inside attached to a handle that turns on the side. Can only turn one way

I remember seeing something like this that was used for tying up packages when they used to allow them to have string or jute.

I was thinking yarn spooler also but that would depend on if you could remove spool from roller.
