Hi. My name is Lisa and I am new. I recently took over an existing flea market and have found myself doing research non stop. There is specifically one piece that I have yet to find. I will post a picture and if anyone could help me establish exactly what it is, maybe what it is worth and where I can find another one to compare it to...I would be forever grateful. It has been driving me crazy!

It also has a tag on the back that says Duparquet, Huot & Moneuse, Co

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard Lisa! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFILE) so if you ask a question, etc. - people may have more success helping you (if necessary)...

2nd - I searched Google and found a very similar match!

Welcome Lisa!!

True story - My grandfather started a business selling refrigerators in rural Mississippi back in the 30's (I guess?)
Family lore is that he sold several right off the bat, but then sales got sluggish and his new business venture failed.

Problem: That part of Mississippi hadn't yet been electrified!!
The few customers who did purchase were using them as insulated ice boxes, not plugging them in to use as conventional refrigerators.

It is a lesson against being an "early adopter".
Grandma never really let him forget it anytime there was a family argument. :)
