Found this looks to me like a ignot bar anyone have any clues found it with my néw garrett 350 any help appreciated thankyou

244 might be the serial number? Or the grade of silver. .925 .999 etc. Although .244 would be a very strange ratio.

I know very strange I think I discovered a copper box full of them!!
 

I saw similar looking silver bars online somewhere. It might have been APMEX. Ill see if I can find it again.
 

Maybe a bar of silver solder and the 244 is the ratio of silver content . The symbol looks like a man with a hammer and maybe a silversmith . IMHO , Woodstock
 

Babbitt ingot? Babbitt ingots can sell for $10.00 or more a pound.
