It provided a more accurate description than you provided above, which is critical for ID purposes. Just saying "I found it ...what is it .. " isn't sufficient ..even for the new members.

Could be the head of an axe like item. looks to be like some kind of weapon. Even middle age people were Gs

Since you seem to be under the influence of something or maybe just have short term memory loss (i'm not sure which), let me refresh it for you...
This is a blacksmith's drift as already id'd and even accepted by you per your own words-"not at all it is a unique and possibly one of a kind drift thankyou!! as qouted from an blacksmith expert......" in reply number 115 of your previous thread.
This piece has obviously had a wire wheel brush taken to it, which explains the
overall lack of rust, except in the "pock" marked areas where the brush couldn't get in to. Your last thread was locked down because it ran it's course. Are you trying to stir up something with this one? Especially with comments like "im thinking extraterrestrial maybe?" I know you just want someone to confirm your idea that it's from the "early middle ages" but come on dude, just let it rest already.
It's dead already.

Im pretty sure this was suggested in the original post Im not reading that long useless argument again to find out If it was suggested or done.
But if I really wanted to know what it was I would take it to a large scrap yard most of witch have x-ray fluorescence, or (XRF) analyzers. Ask them to analyze it, tell them you have a ton or so and want to know if its worth scraping. Dont let them do spark test with grinder, only xrf Or similar . It will not cost anything.
It will show the precise reading of every metal in the item. Post the total and exact results here.
Im not talking about a jeweler with acid test or a antique dealer with a guess That is useless.
That may not tell you what it is but can end a lot of speculation of what its made of and when .
Other wise its just a piece of unknown alloy That cannot be positively ID'ed from a picture. Same as last post.
Until I see those results I will assume you are not serious about finding out what it is and I will make no more comments on it.
Good luck and hope to see result of tests.

Maybe it's a very old cupronickel?
[h=3][/h] ... that would be my guess.
