Beginner question; what is the difference between a cache and a hoard (and a stash for that matter)? Also, are there any other words in this same class of words to describe these similar meanings?
Thank you

Are you pulling his leg?A hoard is a major find, usually buried BC.
A stash is a minor find, usually some item buried by Frank Sinatra.
A cache is usually money (more than $51) found accidently while metal detecting.
A big ticket is an amount of money (more than $10,000) that is constantly being searched for.
A little ticket is by far the most likely to be found ($20 - $90) usually on a beach.
I hope that is helpful.
don't use the word stash in front of law enforcement...bad idea...
