Been doing a lot of net crawling with my Kindle and it is a hassle to organize and post pics on that thing but I am still getting out when I can so here are a few of the nicer things that have come out of the ground for me lately.
A ladies pendant watch from the 60's, I think.
A silver and gold pendant from next to a basketball court.
The wife scarfed it up as soon as she saw it.
My first Buff.
I have dug hundreds of nickels including a V, but strangely I never dug up a Buff before this.
Bonus...it has a nice readable date!
A beautiful silver ring with a gorgeous big stone that stupid me cracked when I tried to straighten it out on my mandrel and hammer.
A nice silver ring with chunks of turquoise embedded all around it.
My first tax token since moving to Kansas.
Tiny and wrecked, but 2 mil and still cool I think.
An old brass hose nozzle.
I have found plenty but this one looked pretty old.
Someone suggested I throw it in my tumbler so I did and it cleaned up nicely and even a name emerged.
That name enabled me to track down the company and learn some history I didn't know before...always a cool thing.
Found out it is old...turn of the century...last century.
My latest find from 2 days ago my first silver Harley ring.
Crushed and bent into a figure 8 shape but I straightened it out easily without wrecking this one and the wife commented how pretty it looked.
It is now missing but I bet if I looked in my wife's jewelry box I will find it.
Still reading about all your finds too so keep it up.
