Was it involved in a wildfire? Found in Utah.

It was likely damaged by extreme heat. Many projectile points are found in and around ancient fire pits. Some are found with pock marks similar to the surface damage on that point. The term we use is Fire Popped.
The point also seems to be catastrophically calcified. The material and size of the point may have been over taken by time, elements and mineral composition.
