I cant stand shaking hands with a guy thats like shaking hands with a jellyfish

I admit I haven't read every post here but I do agree with Red (No jellyfish approach)... Men can tell a LOT by the handshake and then the EYE contact combined. It's not a "contest" when we shake and it shouldn't be even considered to be... But a firm grip along with some eye contact and then some verbal communication can go A LONG WAY toward a first impression. Anybody who shakes my hand, makes eye contact and converses also is off to a great start.

Approach me with long orange hair, metal sticking out of your face and dressed ENTIRELY in black you might get a high five and we'll move on from there... just me.
