What ever happened to Bitcoin?

Being able to buy stocks and crypto from a exchange on a phone app has made it way easier to paperhand.. no need to dimond hand. Take profits and bail or cut your losses.. either way it's just a game..
a game it is, I will not hold for years. Having traded futures and forex, I learned short term is the only way. Cypto exchanges such as coinbase will charge $3 per transaction. that is $6 if you find out you are on the wrong end. On a bad day a $6 profit is better than a $200 loss.

I use coinbase purchase through PayPal, they do not charge to trade within coinbase, then again I have only bought in amounts of $25.00 or less, I just dabble in it with funds I would have spent on something else anyway. Instead of going to buy fast food, I was considering to go buy I would think about it and instead fix something at home and instead spend the $10 or $15 on crypto, so money would have been spent anyway.

I haven't sold or traded any, just buying in small increments of $10-$25, I am down $22.50 including fees total over all since I started buying last summer.

You might want to check again. Last year I had purchased Eth through paypal, and yes they did charge fees. also had a hard time finding any tax statements, which you will need if you sell, purchased $200, made $800 profit in paypal last year.

if anyone does want to get started in bitcoin, you can do so without it costing you a cent. Coin base will actually give you over $100 in free coin, and of course if you use the link I give you you will get and extra $10 (and so will i)

Coinbase is a great app, and widely accepted. It has many features and tutorials to help educate about crypto, and actually earn crypto by completing there tutorials. They pay you to learn about crypto !! As you can see....eth coin is on the upswing and is about to go deflationary. This will be big and would be a huge boost.

Sorry, I didn't mean to say they didn't charge fees, I paid 2.5% using Paypal. Coinbase does not charge fees to trade within coinbase accounts, move crypto from coinbase wallet to coinbase pro wallet. Sorry I wasn't clear on it......

I found the tax statements under tax activity on the right side, since I sold none I had no tax to report to IRS.

Also.....im the first person to bring a treasure based NFT project to the open sea market place. I havnt sold any yet, but im up and running and have locked up the 1733 fleet treasure coin NFTs. They are based on my treasure finds, and there are links to my banner threads here on t-net, and my you tube videos of me finding the treasure. So far when you search treasure on the open sea site....it directly links you to my NFT project. No other treasure related NFTs except mine.

Btc going down like the rest of the markets and a perfect time to not be in.
Not even a good time for swing trading unless you have balls of steel (gold).
Four year cycle in effect now?

That is what I do not like about bitcoin, in order to make a little you need to stay in a week or better. When I was day trading futures and forex my longest trade was an hour. I stopped forex when the brokers locked you out before the news. The best trades lasted 60 seconds or less

Yep it's in its death throes now and only a matter of time before the dollar collapses completely.

Theres always plenty of cash to be made on both sides and it's easy to see what they are doing.

They can print whatever they want. It wont fill the black hole theyve created but there will be some gains to be made for sure!

It's almost like watching midget porn but with less tasteful or talented actors.
The dollar will never ... ever... collapse.

The US dollar is THE most covenanted currency in the World... always has been... always will be.

Dont believe the hype.

Those who believed in the Crypto false prophets are feeling it now.

smaller crypto currencies are slowly going bankrupt , not really sure how that works when they are based on thin air, but it affects the larger cryptos like bitcoin and ethurm (also based on nothing)

I lost my ass in the short term....this sounds crazy, but I might buy more !! Things will change.....they always do.

there is an old saying in the trading market, that goes something like trying to find tops and bottoms is like catching falling daggers.
But when I was trading I used the John Crane method, then waited for confirmation. Currently the only confirmation on bitcoin is down, so unless you have an account that allows you to short the market, stay out.
And short term is all I ever did, 2 - 5 days, then I moved into day trading 3 - 15 min, which was harder to use John's method, you just followed the flow.

I definitely see the US dollar moving to the blockchain some day. Or some future version of it.

I hope so BUT for the first time in history oil sold for something besides the dollar, the ruble and the yen.
