What does gold come up as on Ace 350?

Tom, Goldkey stated that the ring in his avatar came up between nickel pull tab range so I think that ring qualifies as a big fat gold mans ring, It could be their machines will only show gold in those ranges.

If a ring tests (on ANY brand/type machine) as coming in between nickel and pulltab, then no, it's not as sizable as men's rings can be. Heavy men's gold rings can read up to nearly zinc penny. And a $20 gold reads up at around IH, etc....

I see again Tom...as from past experiences with confrontations with you on this site...that you are a mass of information waiting to explode on any subject.
I also see and wonder if you have operated an Ace 250 or 350. There's a reason on those machines that they have gold and bronze on one side of the screen and silver on the other.
I have found 98 rings in the past year......15 of them being gold....9 of them being silver. Junk rings also ring in at the nickel tab most of the time. The Ace250 and 350 are not meant to be so defining in the evaluation of the metals as say an AT Pro would be. They are the least expensive machines. They also don't have the numbering scale of the metals as the AT Pro does.
I'm sure I have put in enough hunting time with the machine to more than know what it does in the field. I hunt 3-4 times per week on average.....usually all day on Saturday and Sunday.
Not to mention I have been in this hobby for 40 years.
My evaluation of the machine was to help someone else that has a similar machine to know that when the signals are in that range that they can sometimes expect to find gold.
Keep it simple............if you have knowledge of the 250 or 350....direct your knowledge to the man that started the thread.....please.

If I had my detector on me I would just do a simple air test with a few varying gold pieces but unfortunately my detector is in another state and wanted to do some further homework so when I get a chance to detect I can go right on my way. Thanks ford everyones input guys I got exactly what I wanted to know and learned some great information!
